Export/Import Invoices

    Hello. I relaunched my website but noticed the sliced invoices did not migrate over. I have access to the old site and new but I can’t seem to find a way to export/import. Can you please advise? Thanks

    Hi Scott,

    Have you tried the Export CSV / Import CSV functions included in Sliced Invoices? You can export from the Quotes and Invoices listing pages; the Import function can be found under Sliced Invoices -> Tools.

    You could also use just about any WordPress CSV import/export plugin to do the job… if you go this route, basically there are 3 things you would need to copy over:

    1) Quotes, which are stored as a custom post type “sliced_quote”
    2) Invoices, which are stored as a custom post type “sliced_invoices”
    3) Users, which is how we store clients. (You wouldn’t have to copy all users, just the ones which are also clients)
