    Hello,
    We recently migrated our wordpress from one hosting to another. However we lost all the plugin data, forms, donators, etc.
    We do have a backup of the plugin file, is it possible to restore it from there?
    Thank you,

    Hi @web09,

    I would recommend moving the database from the existing site to the new site, and then removing/changing/redesigning things. The reason is that the way donations work, they are tied to lots of parts of the WordPress Database. Then, just before you are ready to go live with the switch, pull in all the donation data again from the live site to the new donations site, and turn off donations on the live site until the switch goes through.

    Ok, thank you for your help!. Everything seems to be set but now a new erro shows up everytime I try to set the template…
    It shows the following: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/src/Form/Templates.php:112 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/src/Form/Templates.php(98): Give\Form\Templates->getTemplateObject(”) #1 /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/src/Helpers/Form/Template.php(50): Give\Form\Templates->getTemplate(”) #2 /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/includes/admin/forms/class-metabox-form-data.php(1109): Give\Helpers\Form\Template::saveOptions(9707, Array) #3 /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(294): Give_MetaBox_Form_Data->save_form_template_settings(‘_give_form_temp…’, ‘legacy’, 9707) #4 /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(316): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, Array) #5 /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(484): WP_Hook->do_a in /home/customer/www/xxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/src/Form/Templates.php on line 112`

    How can i solve this?

    Hi @web09,

    Refresh your WordPress Permalink settings and test if that solves the issue.
    Also, exclude your Donation Confirmation page from any and all cache (if applicable).

    If the problem persists, the next step would be to try our Health Check tutorial. This can allow you to test your site with different plugins without hurting the front-end of your site at all. https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/

    Check if you find a conflict with another plugin or the theme.

    @web09 I’m closing this ticket and following up on the newer one you opened.
