Is there an export function? I am testing this on staging and need to build out an extensive form then if approved move it to production. Also the settings would be great to move also.

    thanks,

    Hello @fooey

Unfortunately, this functionality does not exist in our plugin at this time.

    Thank you

What about copying tables from phpmyadmin? Could you export those tables and import them into the other database, would that hold the information?

Also, you really might want to consider that option for your plugin. That is a huge reason not to use it. Many many people need to test on staging before moving to live. Pretty common.

You can read this guide about “How to create a staging site”.

I am familiar with how to create a staging site, I was referring to the fact that many people utilize staging sites to test things like what your plugin provides. So to have an export option to move from staging to live would be ideal. I am currently testing this on a staging site and when I have lots of settings and forms fields to manually add back in a live site, it is extremely time consuming. An export option would be highly beneficial. I saw another thread that said it was in the works but that was almost 2 years ago. That is a substantial amount of recreating to do.

My question was, can you export tables from the staging site from this plugin and import them into the live site? Not how to make a staging site.

    Hello @fooey

You could try to export data from phpmyadmin and paste to your live site. But you need to do this by yourself. Sorry, but this is not included in our support.
