    Hi Guys,

I’ve come across an issue with using Gravitate and exporting GF entries that use the paragraph text field. With no other plugins activated except GF and Gravitate, when I export entries then open the CSV in Excel the values from paragraph field have been truncated to 112 characters.

The full amount of data from the fields is still in the database (thank goodness), as I can view the entry in the WP admin and can see in excess of 112 characters for the entries that contain a lot of information.

If you need specific examples or more info please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Joel

    Hi Joel,
Sorry for the delay. I have been out of work for ahile do to injuries.

I am not able to replicate the issue you are having, but I am seeing another issue where the data is completely blank on long values.
This seems to be an issue with Gravity Forms only returning the short Details for the export values and not the long details through their filter. Since they are returning the Short Details the encrypted data is passed to the Decryption function without all of the characters needed to decrypt it properly.

The good news is I will have an update out shortly that will bypass this issue.

Ok, I updated the Plug to version 1.0.4

Keep in mind that I disabled the Auto Update for this plugin.
I want to make sure that people Back-Up their data first and also know what they are doing.

So you have to manually update the plugin.
Just download the latest version and FTP in to your server and overwrite the files in the plugin directory.

Let me know if you need help.

Thanks mate. No worries about the delay. Hope you’re on the mend.

I’ve tested with the data in my local install and the full amount of characters have been exported. Thank you!

    Cheers,

    Joel
