Export Data of view counts

What I think that you are asking for – is a page on the admin where you can see the the number of views for each post / page in ascending order?

If that is correct – we have never added that as this is information that is gathered and reported in great detail by Google analytics.

There are a number of plugins that will pull that information from your analytics account and show it on a page on your dashboard including a lot of other useful info.

We have a plugin – a3 Google Analytics which does exactly that – but it is not a free plugin (its is for a3rev Club Members) – but as I said there are a lot of free ones you can choose from – and if you are not already using one, just do a plugin search for ‘Google Analytics’ on here.

As there is no “reporting’ for the page views counts (the reason why is in my reply above) there is no export function.

Out of curiosity what would you do with an export csv of the page views? It would be a simple CSV with these headers

Post / Page ID | Title | Total Views

I am interested to know what you would do with such data as it would have no historical data to compare and would be in order of Post / Page ID creation – not Total Views order (from highest to lowest)?

we were were running a story writing contest hence wanted to extract data of view count in every post.

Steve, can we add a feature of rating scale wherein people can see a separate section of posts having the most views.
you know like the rating scale?
Similar to that a section of most viewed post.
