Export Character Limit

    Hello,

    We recently have had make a recovery attempt on some old tables that were inadvertently deleted.

    We’ve set up a backup of our site using XAMPP figuring the easiest way to recover the tables would be to export them, and import them into production.

    However, it seems that all CSV, JSON, and HTML files exported are truncated somewhere around 10K characters (yes, there’s a lot of data in some of these tables). Is this a sitting in Tablepress itself?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    No, TablePress does not limit the amount of exported data in any way.
    It sends everything as a download to the browser. My guess here is that maybe your server is configured to stop sending data after some timeout is reached, or something like that. Unfortunately, there’s not way for TablePress to detect that ??
