hi, it could be nice to export all submissions instead of do it one per one in the tab “submissions”.

I waste a lot of time to export one by one each csv.

    Hi @golded

I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for the feedback, unfortunately, it isn’t possible since each form can have its field structure and we need to build the file based on that.

Or maybe would you be looking to export it in different CSV files?

If so, not really an export at once, but you can configure the scheduled export function and receive them via email without the need to navigate via the interface after configured once https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#exporting-submissions

hi, it’s so bad. Yes i export but i waste many times ! Imagine there are 20 forms ! And after i have to convert column knowing that the first column with the date has not the same separator so it’s not convenient.

    Regard

    Hi @golded

I understand that but, as my colleague mentioned, each form may have different configuration – use different fields, have e.g. different date/time fields setting etc.

This would create really “messy” CSV structure and could lead to often cases of data being simply incorrect.

An alternative I could suggest exploring would be to consider using some integration such as e.g. Google Sheets to automatically export forms there. Those forms would still be exported to separate sheets but then:

    a) submissions would be exported there “in real time”
    b) there may be more/additonal external tools that could let you “automate” merging of such sheets into a single “aggregated” one

Another option would be to use integration through Zapier or similar service where you can set Forminator to send submitted data to it via webhook and then on the “other end” (Zapier or similar) you can use any of thousands of their supported integration to handle such incoming data.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi @golded,

I hope you are doing well today!

No, you do not have to pay to use Google Sheets API. It is free to use, but it has usage limits. You can increase these limits by enabling billing on your Google Cloud Project. But unless you’re running a very heavy amount of data and requests, you won’t need to worry about it.

    hey, i’m fine thanks !

ok, have you an idea on what this represents for one form sent with the api ? About the numbers of form sent for google sheet…

    Thanks

    Hi @golded,

have you an idea on what this represents for one form sent with the api ?

I suppose you meant how many requests are sent from the Forminator? Generally, it should be sending a single write request to Google Sheets for each form submission, however, I’m double checking regarding this with our Forminator team.

Will keep you posted once we get further feedback asap.

    hi,

yes it s just a form with 10 fields.

    Thanks

    Hi @golded,

Sorry for the delay regarding this, it should be taking 2 Read request and 3 Write request for the 1st time once the integration is enabled.

After that, any newer form submission should take 2 read requests and 2 write requests.
