  • Since we don’t know what code is that – you have to ask about it at the place where you got it.

ok, i thought it was something everybody knew, but its a script that detects what browser u are using and if its IE it stops u and gives you a warning page.

Whatever code you add it should always be in the theme’s index.

You must not be planning to sell anything or have many visitors…. IE still has by far the largest viewer share out there.

For some blogs attracting the maximum amount of IE visitors is not the point. However, Firefox with Google Toolbar isn’t ideal either IMO, so that script doesn’t look too great for me.

I’m aware of that. However, one doesn’t know by what was posted if this is one of those or not. While I ABHOR IE personally, since I make a fair amount of money designing websites as a business, it behooves me to keep firmly in mind that the REST of the world only knows IE. And it never hurts to point out that fact of life to people – since one never knows whether they ARE in fact among the very few relatively who just don’t give a rat’s ass.

Perhaps philiphotserv has the site which will awaken the world to Firefox, because no IE users will be able to access his content until they switch ??

By the way, a different answer for this was posted today in another thread, check it out:
