• I understand RSS feeds are for syndicating your blog/post across the internet. I understand that WordPress allows this, but how do I activate RSS feeds?

    Does it just happen automatically?

Can I choose a particular RSS “program” to send out my blog post? Can I use more than one?

How do I do this, from within WordPress after making a post?

Thanks very much for any replies.

Okay, well that helped. I learned also about Trackbacks which sound like a cool idea.

But tell me, when I post an entry in my blog, is WordPress sending out RSS feeds automatically?

Is there something I can do to enhance or customize that?

“sending out RSS…” is not really accurate, but rather you are providing the means for others to use feedreaders and the like to access the information you publish.

Okay, thank you again for replying and for clarifying.

Okay so maybe what I was thinking was sending out “pings”? Is it this that allows you to actively propagate your blog across the net?

And if so, do you use tags, keywords, to do this?

    Thanks again.
