“Expired” label but event time not yet passed

Hello. We have an event that starts at 5.30pm and ends at 6.30pm. On the day of the event, there is label that reads “expired” next to the event on the front end, even though the event start time has not yet arrived. I do not see any settings related to this – can you assist?
