expired discounts applied

we expired a problem over the weekend where a coupon that expired on April 10th was applied with an additional discount that was valid, almost doubling the discount that should have been applied. For now we’ve removed that auto coupon option from the expired discounts, but we run this special discount often and don’t want to have keep adding/removing the feature. I don’t recall having this issue previously and we’ve been running this sale every couple months for about 10 months.
