Expire based on post last modified date

    This is exactly what I’m trying to do too. Has anyone worked this out yet?
    I have a custom post type set to got to draft after one month. The author receives an email and is asked to update the post so that it can go back on line again. Unfortunately when they update the post the expiry date stays at +30 days from the original post date. It would be great if updating the post would also update the expiry date.

    The only other solution I could think of would be to find a function to update the post_date to last_modified_date when it is saved but haven’t managed to figure this out yet.

    Anyone got any ideas?
