    Hello,

I offer permanent job postings on my website.

When I leave the “End date of the offer” field blank in the job offer data and save it, this sets a default end date in one month. Your plugin then uses this to define the validThrough field for job snippets.

Since my job offers do not have expiration dates, I have been indicating a date of January 1st, 2099 until now.

The problem is that I just received a manual action from Google for non-compliance with the use of the validThrough field. The official documentation states: “If a job posting never expires, or you do not know when the job will expire, do not include this property. If the job is filled before the expiration date occurs, remove the job posting.”

    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/job-posting

Therefore, you should update your plugin with one of the following two options:

1 – Allow the end date to be entered as blank in the job offer data to signify that the offer is permanent, and that this does not generate a validThrough property

    Or

2 – Allow us to check a box to prevent generating the validThrough property.

    Can you look into this?

    Thank you in advance.

    Julien.
