Expert help pls – WP upgraded to 3.1 RC5 developmental version

    Hello

    I cannot work out why my WP Installation has upgraded itself from the latest stable version to:

    “You are using a development version (3.1-RC5-17466).”

    Was this WP-Secure or WP-Security Scan that did this (now inactive) – or my server?

    I installed the original version via cPanel, so yes.

    As for this upgrade to a RC version – I think a security plug-in dis this.

    I have seen a similar thread further down – so I may just have to wait until 3.1 goes live.

    Any other ideas?
