Experon Compatibility with Elementor

I am having some trouble getting the Experon theme to display properly on my home page. The section under Homepage (Featured) does not display to anyone who is not logged in to my webadmin account. The image slider and the blog post section are supposed to be separated by this part of the page.

I use the Elementor plug-in to edit the rest of the site. The homepage is the only page that plug-in does not work with.

Does anyone know what the issue could be?
