Experiencing a Technical Issue update 3.0.0

Please open your own support topic, unless you have absolutely same issue as OP,
1) updated your site to same plugin version
2) have exactly same message in error log after update

What is the point in opening a new topic, if it’s the same issue? There’s clearly a problem in the code. I have the exact same issue as the OP. Looks like a simple problem in the mentioned php file.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in ***/wp-content/plugins/contextual-related-posts/includes/admin/help-tab.php on line 50

Separately, can you or the others facing this issue tell me your PHP environment. I know this is a bug but I haven’t had it thrown up or crash any of my dev or production sites.
