Expected Delivery Date

  • I’m dying to find a plugin that shows live expected delivery date for each of the optional shipping methods in Ship Station.

    Not looking for “2-3 days” or “5 business days” but something that shows an expected date and takes into account the different service levels (UPS 2-day can be shipped on a Saturday for example while 3-day can not).

    Does this plugin have this capability?

    https://1teamsoftware.com/product/woocommerce-shipstation-shipping-pro/ can display estimated delivery time but not the date.
    The issue with the date is that it might create unrealistic expectations for the customer and you can experience more support requests.
    BUT with that we can add a feature to display it as a date or maybe even to customize format of this message.
    I’ve logged a task for it to be implemented.

    Custom format would be great because, yes, it would be unrealistic to provide an exact date for UPS Ground (you would need a more vague range of dates) but for 1-Day, 2-Day, or 3-Day, the expected date is pretty much exact.

    The hardest thing with checkout is trying to explain the options to buyers and asking them to calculate shipping days and business days.
