Expanding Upcoming Event Widget

Hi – I was just curious if you happened to have already built a widget much like the basic Upcoming Events widget where it is expanded. By that I mean I’d likely only choose one event (just to “feature” the next event on the homepage) and this widget would have the basic information already laid out, with no need to hover. Much of our organization is based off our lectures, and so as they are a big part of who were are we’d like to show them off as best we can.
I love your plugin either way, it is the most beautiful and useful calendar plugin out there. We switched from Drupal just to have your calendar…. unfortunately that also means I’m a little green to WordPress, so before I go searching on how to create a widget/post to do this for me, I thought I’d ask the creators first. Thanks for everything!
