Expanded class for li tags that have a.jcl_active tag within

If someone opens a parent category, the li gets an extra class: “expanded”. In my widget I checked “Parent expand sub-categories”. This give the subcat li a the class “jcl_active”, but it doesn’t give the parent li the “expanded” class. This breaks some of my css styling. Can you help me modify the code so that if a parent cat’s li is open for an active subcat, that parent cat’s li will get an “expanded” class?
