Expandable Sidebar

  • Hi,iam new to WordPress and trying to recreate a page to learn about wordpress.
    Iam running into a problem with my sidebar now,i want it to have the same lenght as my content area.
    Maybe you understand when you look at it: https://der-nexus.com/blog
    How can i have an flexible sidebar which always have the same lenght as my content area?

    PS:Sorry for my poor english,i hope you understood what i wanted to ask.

    OK i put a Backgroundimage now so it looks like the sitebar is expandable,but it isnt.
    Isnt there any workaround for this?I dont like it to load a backgroundimage just to have my sitebar looking good.
    Thanks for any help on this

    No, there is no workaround. However you don’t need it for the whole blog (if you don’t want it), for the “faux column” is enough to have a smaller bg-image just for the sidebar.
