Expandable footnote does not disappear

    I’am on Modern Footnotes 1.4.4. In previous versions, expandable footnotes on desktop and mobile appear on clicking on the footnote number and disappear on clicking on the X that replaces the number when the footnote is visible. In 1.4.4, clicking on the X does not let disappear the expandable footnote.

    Should I use other settings or is this a bug ?
