Expand Twitter-shortened t.co URL's

Since November 2011 Twitter automatically shortens all URLs in tweets using its t.co shortener.
These are automatically expanded when viewing https://twitter.com in a web browser and also by many other tweet-displaying scripts and plugins using Tweet Entities.
Twitter Widget Pro doesn’t seem to expand t.co URLs. Can it be set to do this?
