Expand Tables by Category

Hey, great plugin.
But before we go “pro” we’d like to see if there is a way we can do one thing-

We have a table of data, that has different categories of stats in it:
Population
Stat 1
Stat 2
Stat 3
Geography
Stat 1
Stat 2
Stat 3

We’d like to be able to have the tables minimize the stats and just show an expandable category label, which when clicked on would open up the stats- kind of how it looks in responsive hide column mode, but for the category and on mobile or not.

So instead:
Population (+)
Geography (+)

etc.

Any help is much appreciated!
