Expand sub-menu items on same page

Correction: My theme provider (uncode) helped me with the custom code since wedocs theme wasn’t loading properly — i mistakenly thought it was wedocs.

This is what it looked like before. We uploaded the plugin but the theme didn’t load with it.

Their customer support said:
“Nothing that I save from theme options->doc or docs affect the styling. Only I can offer is custom css code in order to make it look better, let me know.

And because transparent menu is not applied you need to add this css code so the header can appear:
body.single-docs:not(.menu-overlay):not(.hmenu-center):not(.menu-force-opacity) .menu-wrapper:not(.no-header) .menu-transparent:not(.is_stuck):not(.is_mobile_open).menu-transparent.style-light-original {opacity: 1 !important;}”

… etc.

No, it’s not necessary to use the weDocs theme. You can use any WP standard theme. However, sometimes with the theme layouts, these kinds of problems may happen and the theme authors can help better than us in those cases.

Hi Mehedi – sorry but you didn’t answer my questions ?? Please see above for the full detail, summarized below.

A few issues currently:
1) I want sub-sub menu items to expand and collapse on the same page, but currently they are reloading the page in order to expand the items. What do I do in this case?
2) When I click on a menu item, it refreshes the whole page, which causes a lag in which the menu bar disappears and the page jumps for 3 seconds.

I’d like to enable Ajax sub-menu items (opening/closing on the same page, not going to a new page to reveal submenu items) similar to how you have it here https://wedevs.com/docs/wp-project-manager/developer-docs/

1. It doesn’t allow the sub-sub sections by default at this moment. You can create a section and docs under them. The reference you shared is custom-built, for our own purpose only. However, we may consider this future to release publicly in the future.

2. Each menu(section) contains a separate page, so, yes, it’ll reload as it’s not a single page design.
