how are you using this shortcode?
where are you placing it, exactly?
it seems like you are a) placing the shortcode directly in a template file and b) not using the title attribute.

For placing a shortcode inside a template with php, you should look into the do_shortcode function.

Thank for getting back to me. To be honest it sounds customisations above my skill level.

I’m using Woothemes Canvas and description section of Blog Archive pages doesn’t output any HTML / CSS formating. I understand that i need to override this somewhere in the php files but I’ve got myself in trouble before modifying them so ……

……time to get a techie in, rather than trying to figure it for myself. I’ll pass your instructions on to my WP fixer.

    cheers Robbie

    Robbie,

if you are using Woothemes Canvas they should be able to tell you how to add the ability to use shortcodes in the content blocks. It most likely is a simple hook or filter you need to add to your theme’s function.php file.

    Good Luck!
