• Hello WordPress forums. I’m developing locally on the wordpress “Twenty Twenty Four” theme with no plugins installed. I’m using Google chrome developer tools to try to find the CSS element for the background color of the “expand on click” image property, however thus far I have been unable to determine which element controls the background-color element for the image overlay.

    Thank you for your time!

    Edit: I may have made some progress: I’ve located the element:

    style=”background-color: var(–wp–preset–color–base);

    Edit 2: Okay it looks like the color of the background is controlled by the –wp–preset–color–base which you can change via the background-color property in the theme editor. Edit Site, Colors, Background. I may have solved my own issue thanks.
