Expand & Collapse Widgets

I’d like to be able to add a function to my widgets to allow the user to expand or hide them, something like a button in the corner (or a plus/minus symbol or something) that when the user clicks on it it changes the state of that particular widget to open/closed.

I haven’t been able to find anything that does this – that’s not to say it’s not out there, I’d love to think that it is because that would be a simple solution, otherwise, is it something someone could offer me some advice on?
