    Trying to avoid heartache by asking this question in advance.

    I have a WP3.5 multisite network using WPMUDev Multi-DB, multi-domains and domain mapping plugins on a subdomain setup. I have existing subsites that are mapped.

    mainsite.com
    subsite.mainsite.com = niche.com (domain mapping)
    subsite.niche.com (multi-domains)

    can I just install the Networks for WordPress plugin and live happily ever after? or need to prepare in advance. Do I need to deactivate the other plugins?

    thanks

    [Insert applause and cheering here.]

    Given the innumerable issues I’ve had to deal with regarding WP3.5 and multisites and the difficulty of getting explanations, I really have to make a loud statement. Well Done.

    Existing WP3.5 multisite, adding Networks for WordPress went very smoothly.

    I will return and detail steps.

    THANKS

    I’d be interested in the steps. I’m looking into this with an existing multi-site on WP 3.5 and use the domain mapping plugin. How easy was it? any hiccups?
