Existing User Password Check Failing

  • While implementing this plugin on an already existing site (with a lot of users).
    We have exported all of our users info to the IDP (excluding passwords)

    Authentication is happening properly between the IDP and our SP
    If the user does not exist they are created within WordPress

    but one challenge we are having is if the user already exists in the system. The password check fails because a password already exists for that user.

    We were wondering the best way to approach updating that user and if you had any suggestions.
