The above page has a password: litlelight1

I have my personal account set up so it’s an admin. I changed the capabilities so that it was a Give Donor. When I try to login and make a donation, I get an endless “please wait”. This account has never made a donation. The same behavior exists if I make the account admin only.

If try to create an account, it says the user already exists.

If I try to login with an account that I have made a prior donation, everything works just fine.

I set up a login on that page to redirect to donation history, but this just redirects to the homepage with the personal account. The account I have made a successful donation with redirects just fine.

What I’m trying to achieve is figure out what this looks like from a donors perspective. I want to migrate, but it needs to be easy. All my migrations are from WooCommerce and recurring donations, which I read that GiveWp does not suggest you import. I’d like to make this as simple as they login and then perhaps i can set up a second link which auto populates the fields and they simple just put in payment info.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kdetwieler

    Glad you reached out here.

If you log in as a WP user prior to visiting a GiveWP donation form, the form will be prepopulated with your name and email, even if you have not made a prior donation.

Once the donation has been processed, GiveWP will create a donor profile that’s attached to the WP user profile.

I’m not clear on where you are redirecting the users after they login to your page. If they’re taken to the Donation History page ana have not made any donations via GiveWP then it is expected that the page will not show any donations.

Is your “Donation History” page setup as the “Donation History Page” in GiveWP settings?

Do you have anything else besides the “[donation_history]” shortcode on that page?

Is that page used by WooCommerce at all?

    Thanks!
