Existing Products/Category as Options

    Is there a way in core or a plugin that will allow me to use a group of exiting products/category to function as an option group on another product?

    Example:

    We are selling an above ground pool.

    You have to select which filter pump you want with the pool. There are 3 options.

    We also sell the pumps by themselves.

    So how can I use the already setup up pump products as options on the pool product.

    What you are wanting to achieve cannot be done with WooCommerce core by default, and a plugin would be required.

    I’d recommend taking a look at the Product Add-Ons extension, which can help you achieve this.

    Product Add-Ons?will allow you to configure the products in a way that when a customer views your pool product, they will be able to select one of the pumps as an option before adding the pool to their cart.
