    The plugin keeps track of images that it has compressed, but if you have already compressed the images manually then the plugin will not know this.

    However, if you send an already compressed image via the plugin to our API, it will compress less than if you send the original since it tries to balance between quality and size. We recommend to only send original files through to our service.

    By default the plugin will only compress new images uploaded to your media library. You can choose yourself if you want to compress the already uploaded images.
