I have successfully installed Pardot and authenticated my account. I also cleared the account cache. I have several forms associated with the Pardot account, one of them is associated with my user account. However, I’ve never been able to see a list of any forms, whether it be the entire form list or just the single form associated with my account. The plugin attempts to load in the forms and then displays: “It looks like you don’t have any forms set up yet.”

Also, in case it is related and relevant, every time I leave the Pardot settings screen and then return the password is altered, preventing me from clearing the cache, unless I update and resave the password.

Is this a new Pardot account, by chance?

Hello Cliff. Yes, a fairly new account – mid to late July.

Got it. We’re in the process of updating, but there’s a known change with newer accounts that can cause this.

Try looking for const VERSION = '3'; in pardot/includes/pardot-api-class.php. Change it to const VERSION = '4';.

That did the trick. Much appreciated.

I would love for you to try version 1.4.1’s RC: https://github.com/Pardot/pardot-for-wordpress/archive/1.4.1.zip

That’s being tested as a fix for the API version issue. You’ll simply need to choose version 4 in the Pardot settings area and re-authenticate. You may need to clear the plugin’s cache as well—do that by clicking the button on the settings page.

Hey Cliff, any estimate on when the 1.4.1 update will be going live? I may just wait for that as opposed to adjusting our WordPress code and potentially introducing technical debt. I appreciate the info!

I’m in the process of trying to get it tested on a variety of accounts this week. I’d hope to get it out the door this week or next if it’s looking good.

Right on, good luck with the testing hopefully it goes smoothly. I’ll await for the update, as my dev team is more comfortable doing that as opposed to making direct WordPress code changes. Thanks Cliff!

Sure thing. If you feel like you can test the version I linked above, definitely let me know how it turns out.

To anyone who does try the version I linked above: the plugin files you need are in the “trunk” folder.

Hey Cliff, has the update/fix gone out yet?
