• Hello,

I have an existing domain that has several blogs that have deposited their own directories into one domain.

My question, since feedburner and the rss feeds are already looking in those folders. How do I make sure WP deposits the new posts into the respective folders?

I was told this was important to not lose our subscribers if we change locations with feedburner.

If I have been give the wrong information please tell me what is correct.

By the way I am new to WP, Also, I searched these forums and could never find what I was looking for.

Lastly, where does it explain how to have more than one blog with one copy of WP?

    Thanks,

    Randal

  • Starting from the bottom:

It doesn’t explain anywhere because you simply can NOT.
(have more blogs with one install)

WP doesn’t “deposit” posts in any folder. Every content is in the database, not in files.

several blogs that have deposited their own directories into one domain.
What do you mean by “deposited”? Don’t over-complicate, just describe it in plain English.

Thanks for the assistance. Deposited means that I use Blogger and using the option to put the content on our domain it actually puts the finished posts in a folder we specified on our domain. In this folder are the archives of the posts that have been published.

Given what you have said, what is the best way to keep my subscribers to feedburner and switch to WP?

One domain has four blog archives on it.

To have multiple blogs do I just install a copy of WP for each blog?

    Thanks,

    Randal
