Exif data deleted from resised uploaded pictures

    Two years ago I posted concerning this problem, when I activate the resizing feature of uploaded pictures the exif data are deleted from the image if it is effectively resised.

    Two years after, and many Nextgen Gallery updates the problem is already effective.

    My users upload pictures if the pictures have a size greater than the size I determined the exif data is lost. They have to resize thier images before uploading. Demanding more manipulations and in the fact causing more errors.

    @mariogroleau – We believe we have found and fixed this issue; and, we have committed the fix to the next release branch of NextGEN Gallery. The correction was meant to be added several months ago but was missed due to an over-sight on our part.
