• Hi Sayonta.
Have you ever looked at bringing EXIF data across to Photonic, from Flickr, to annotate an image description?
    Thanks.

I have considered it quite extensively during the very early days of Photonic (back in 2011), however the reason I didn’t include it is because I couldn’t figure out a clean way to display the information on the lightbox anywhere.

Where would you envision such information being displayed?

    Hi Sayontan.
Probably as an extension of text on the description. A lot of photographers like to see/compare Exif for shots, as it can be useful for improvement or purely to see performance of gear under low light, for example.
    Typically: eg.
    Camera Model: Olympus E-M1MarkII
    Lens: M.300mm F4.0 + MC-14
    Aperture: ?/5.6
    Focal length: 420.0 mm
    Shutter Speed: 1/1000
    ISO: 1600
Of course I appreciate the issues alongside the effort in getting this information somewhere in the description/extension of description, would most likely be a lot of coding work, I suppose different people want to see/display different things.
It was only a muse of mine, thanks for responding.
    Cheers.
    Richard.

Well, one possibility is to add an icon alongside the social media icons, which upon hover, will show the EXIF information. Not sure how much effort it will take to implement it though, with a plethora of lightboxes to consider.

    Ok, that sounds cool.
    Thanks for your consideration.
