• Most recent version of the Plugin crashes my website out occasionally. Hard to pin point at what time.

The error we get is as follows:
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 55 of the file /public_html/wp-content/plugins/Wp-mail-smtp-pro/wp-mail-smtp.php. Error message: Allowed memory size of 2147483648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 137438953448 bytes)

    Hi @regalguy,

I would recommend that you contact your hosting support for this issue.

The memory sizes in your error message above are really big (137 GB ram requested when the 2 GB was exhausted). Please contact your hosting support and show them this error.

I think our plugin was just the point where this issue occurred (server ran out of memory), but it’s most probably not the causing issue. This has to be a server-wide memory issue/limit.

Please let us know what your hosting company will find out.

    Have a nice day!

Our host won’t help with issues like this. Given that the error only occurs when the Plugin is active, they advise to seek assistance for the Plugin or use another plugin.

    Hi @regalguy,

I’m sorry to hear your hosting doesn’t want to help out.

I see that you also have a support ticket opened and we just sent you the older version of the plugin.

Let’s continue the discussion in the ticket instead. Let us know if downgrading will resolve your issue.

    Have a nice day!
