Exerpts on Home page not going to full post

My Technical Support instinct has been telling me, “It works on one page but not another”. The question we now need to answer is, “What’s different!?”

I’m not sure if this will help, but it may point you in the right direction. I’ve been reviewing these set of pages:

Work

The difference I noted is that on the pages that DO work, these items are shown ABOVE the image:
My Zimbion – Share – Tweet – SU Submit

Those same set of links are NOT showing on the pages that are not working.

Is that a plugin that shows those share / tweet links? Is there a reason you don’t have them set to show on the stuffed-mushrooms and pumpkin-whoopie-pies pages?

Yes, that is a plug in called Social Media Counters.

I have the plug-in set for posts and pages and category pages, so they should be on everything I post. I have no idea to why they are not shown on the pages that don’t work.

Have you tried some Excerpt Plugin ?
May be Advanced Excerpt ?

Never tried an Excerpt Plugin.

its something between line 25-27 in single.php

I thought it was between lines 23-27, so I removed them and put this line in it’s place.

still, nothing…grr..lol

<?php the_content(); ?>

Try removing everything inside the brackets

added it and still….nothing!

ohhh.. that really requires some time… i m already too late… will look on to this tonight…. :/

I really do think that this has something to do with the issue that you’re facing. If it is not that plugin specifically causing the problem, then whatever is causing the issue for the page must be the same reason that the “Social Media Counters” plugin is not loading.

I know you stated you disabled all plugins previously, what if you change nothing except disabling that plugin?
