    When I have Powerpress configured to show the subscribe links under the audio player, that wording appears at the start of the exerpts on the home page and podcast masonary page. How do I prevent that.

    Example exerpts might show as :

    Subscribe:iTunes Android Email RSS In this episode of the podcast we discover etc. etc. …..

    I am using Salient theme on WordPress. Here is the site https://www.retiredexcited.com

    Do you know if you have PowerPress configured to be at the top or bottom of your posts? If it’s at the top, change it to the bottom and see if that fixes the issue.

    Thank you Shawn,

    I have it configured as ‘Disabled’ so that I can place the player where I like. I tried changing to ‘Top”, but it did not make any difference to my issue.

    Here’s something you can try. Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Media Appearance >> Having issues? and try the different options in the dropdown menu. Select the first one and save the changes. If that fixes the problem, then you’re done. If not, try the other options and see if one of them solves the problem.

    I tried all the options in your suggestion, but still no luck. Perhaps the theme I am using is causing the problem .. I will check that.

    Another option: Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Display media / links in: WordPress Excerpts, if the box is checked, uncheck it and save.

    If none of these options help, then it’s likely an issue with the theme.

    Hi Shawn,

    Yes that does work. The links disappear from the exerpts, but they also disappear from the individual podcast pages. That’s ok because people still have the opportunity to subscribe from the links in the footer. But having links right under the media player as well seemed like a good option. If all else fails I will do as you suggest.
