Downloaded latest version 2 Fridays back. Did a backup of a 3.9.1 site and when i deactivated/deleted the plugin after doing the backup and downloading it, it wiped the contents of the uploads folder, all images on the client production site were just gone. gone. no warning, no nothing. this plugin is dangerous. very dangerous. lost years off my life.

    Hello,

What you describe, just impossible! I really believe there are number of users who install/activate/deactivate this plugin everyday. But we’ve not heard or received a feedback from them about such a strange problem since the product has been released!

Anyway, do you have any *.sgbp backup archive downloaded on your local computer? If yes, we can help you to restore everything back as you’ve mentioned you just lost it.

@backup-guard: Lisa, nothing is “impossible”. A plugin is code that has permission to do almost anything. A little bug or uncaught edge case can lead to issues. My recommendation to you is that you slow down, take a step back, get the details first before getting into confrontational replies and discussions.
