    Hi,

I’ve recently had a hacking attempt on my server, and had to run an antivirus to look for any infected files. One of the files that were flagged (mainly because it’s a Windows executable file) was one called hiddeninput.exe, located in the following path of your plugin: vendor/symfony/console/Resources/bin/hiddeninput.exe.

Should this file be in there?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Kind regards,

    Montse

    Hi Montse,

I’m sorry to hear about the attack on your site.

That .exe file is used by a popular PHP library in our plugin called Symfony, so it is not malicious or the result of a hack. The nature of that file is to hide passwords on screen while they’re being typed in.

With that said, we will go ahead and filter it out in the next release to prevent any further alarm.

This file has been removed in version 1.28.
