    Please tell me how to exclude widgets in the sidebar from being cached because it disables a random display of content, yet it is needed. The option to disable sidebar caching would be a great and welcomed update.

    if that sidebar is added as shortcode or widget, then you can use ESI, otherwise you will need to do some custom coding.
