Every time I think I have my shipping setup sorted something else comes up!

I have four shipping classes (small, standard, large and special) and two different quantity based flat rate shipping methods (standard and tracked) set across various regions and zones.

However I ONLY want special items to be sent by tracked delivery – I thought having N/A next to special in the standard delivery options this would mean only tracked was available, but apparently not (I previously had large+standard set to N/A but yesterday a customer ordered a large item, was able to select standard and no shipping at all was added?)

Is there a way of achieving this i.e. an entry against specific classes that will exclude it as an option for customers?

    Many thanks,
    Claire

    Hi Claire,

I’d recommend you to take a look at the Conditional Shipping and Payments extension, which allows you to have full control over the shipping methods available at checkout. You can create simple or advanced rules to restrict shipping options based on conditional logic.

With that extension, you can restrict the tracked delivery option to your special items.

    Hope it helps!

Hi, I have the same problem but I’m not going to use any paid plugin. Is there any way out?
