Excluding Products from User Role Based Discounts

I’ve assigned discounts to the Administrator role to WooCommerce products using the Dynamic Based Pricing plugin. I’ve installed the Dynamic Pricing Product Exclusions product in order to exclude certain products from receiving the discount, i.e., gift cards, membership subscriptions, etc., and have checked the box labeled “simple membership” on Disable Product Pricing area of the product page. However, the plugin doesn’t appear to be working properly because all of the the products continue to reflect the discount price for all users in the Administrator role.

These are the versions I am running: WordPress 3.9.2, WooCommerce 2.1.12, WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing 2.6.1, WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing Product Exclusions 1.0.0.

Additionally, is it possible to update the plugin to work with the Groups WooCommerce extension? The Dynamic Pricing extension supports the Groups extensions so that discounts can be given based on group membership. It the Product Exclusion extension could be modified to support the Groups exclusion also, it would be great.

Coding is not my expertise, but could it be as simple as adding to the module array to include “simple_group”?

An example of excluding products: currently I can assign store-wide discounts to my group called Discount Club so they will receive a discount on all products. But I need to be able to exclude products from their discounts, such as gift cards.
