Excludes disappear with version 8

    With the version 8 upgrade, the category excludes I had set all disappeared and your web site help files only talk about prior versions.

    There is exclude settings in the new version but one only allows you to pick Post Titles (of which I have nearly 2,000). Taxonomies asks you to “select something” when there is nothing to select??

    Disappointing you’d remove a significant degree of functionality.

    I also noticed it stopped sharing with the update, so I restarted sharing.

    Hey @davidfb,

    We stopped the sharing on purpose being a big release which will need to be validated by the users before going back live.

    I know that this new release might cause some issues for some of the users but we will help them make the transition as smooth as possible.

    We have some great features in the pipeline for the next weeks, which will include some improvements to the posts/taxonomies filters UI.

    Thanks for restoring the catagory excludes in v 8.02. Glad to see my earlier settings had been retained.
