• I have the “Exclude pages” field set to 191,1770,3211,3290

But those pages still show up in my sitemap. I’m using this shortcode in a shortcode block:

    [wp_sitemap_page display_category_title_wording="false"]

I’ve tried simplifying matters by removing the display_category_title_wording parameter, but the excluded pages are still included.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @kgagne,

Did you check the “Excluded pages” section (i.e., settings) of the plugin to make sure the excluded pages you entered are still there?

If you deactivated/activated the plugin and/or when you updated it, the “Excluded pages” you’ve entered will disappear (a plugin bug, click here for a similar issue).

    Cheers!

Hi, @generosus! Thanks for the reply.

The page IDs are correctly filled out in the “Excluded Pages” field. Here is a screenshot.

I’m using WordPress 6.4.3 with PHP 8.1 and plugin v1.9.3.

    Hey, there!

    Interesting. My thoughts:

    (1) Did you try deactivating/activating the plugin, checking the excluded pages setting, then flushing all cache (i.e., all cache layers)?

    (2) Did you perform a plugin conflict test?

    Cheers!

    Hello again!

Thank you for the accurate reminder that I should’ve done more troubleshooting before opening a ticket —?oops!

Oddly, this issue appears to be not a plugin conflict, but a theme conflict. Using either Travelberg or its parent theme, Blogberg, the issue occurs … but not when I switch to Twenty Twenty One. ??

I’m unsure if that means the issue is with the plugin or with the theme. ??
