Excluded Categories Still Showing

I’m specifying links with multiple categories (for example, “Client Implementation” is 6, and “Non-NA” is 35. It is possible for a link to have both assigned).

In the Library Settings, I have a primary category, and an excluded category.

I specify (for example), 6 as the primary, and 35 as the excluded.

However, the 35 links still show up. I tried one category at a time (not exactly sure what this means). No difference at all.

I suspect that it is an “OR” comparison, and not an “AND” comparison. I need to be able to have links that may have one category in common, but another category in the exclude list to be excluded.

I’m sure I’m just not grokking the instructions correctly. If someone could show me an “M”, so I can RTFM, I’d be grateful.
