Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag

    Hi,

    I just found that the sitemap* couldn’t be crawled by google.

    *The sitemap is created by All in one Seo plugin

    The message I get in GSC is :

    “URL is not available to Google”
    “Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag”
    No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http header

    However if I deactivate All in one Seo plugin this error message disappears from GSC and then it says: “URL is available to Google”

    -I have tried to deactivate and activate few times to see if this changes something.

    -I have deactivated all the plugins on by one besides All in One SEO and the problem did not go away

    -I share this issue with web hosting company and according to them there’s not an issue in the hosting side.

    What needs to be done to have the sitemap crawled as well while having this plugin active?

    However In GSC “Submitted sitemaps” this Sitemap seems to be “Read” and with “Success” Status:

    Can’t check without knowing your website URL, but we don’t output a noindex HTTP header for our sitemap. This has been reported a number of times in the past though and usually turns out to be a glitch in Google Search Console.

    Just wondering how you fixed this in the end?

    I’m having the same problem on one of my clients websites. In Google Search Console he’s seeing the following message for the sitemap generated by All in One SEO:

    “URL is not available to Google”
    “Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag”
    No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http header

    It’s been a while since I posted this so I do not really remember much…

    But If I remember correctly after reading some GSC forums I end up ignoring that message.

    I think what is important is that in GSC “Submitted sitemaps” the submitted Sitemap appears ad “Read” with the “Success” Status:
