After duplicating a post, the view count of the copied post is copied along. The view count is a feature in my paid theme, not a plugin. How can I exclude the view count when duplicating a post?

    Hi,

If you go to your WP admin dashboard > Settings (sidebar) > Duplicate Post > What to copy tab > can you check the ‘post/page elements to copy’ section and see if the view count is showing up as an option and is currently ticked, and if you can untick it and save the changes?

Otherwise, you might have to check out the Duplicate Post filters and documentations to exclude certain fields such as the view count in order to make sure it doesn’t copy over — https://developer.yoast.com/duplicate-post/filters-actions

    Hi,

I don’t have view count is showing up as an option in ‘post/page elements to copy’, how can I get it to show up there?
