Exclude “uncategorized” posts

What a wonderful plugin! Only issue I am having is that I am trying to exclude the “Uncategorized” category from the pool of random posts, as the content that falls under that is boring archive stuff.

Here are my current parameters that I thought was working, but does not seem to be excluding properly as this post just popped up on my latest test: https://thefoodsection.com/join-us-on-may-15-for-spirited-brunch/

https://thefoodsection.com/?redirect_to=random&post_type=post&category__not_in=uncategorized

I figure I am not using that last parameter correctly – any help woulf be much appreciated!
